Andy Anastasio Jr has been elected as a director for MTAC, Motor Transport Association of Connecticut, Inc. The 1,200 member strong MTAC organization is Connecticut’s premier transportation association. MTAC provides its members with a full menu of transportation resources which include; a complete and up to date sourcing of all the Connecticut, regional and Federal transportation regulations, a lobbying presence in the State of Connecticut legislature, and a host of transportation products and services.

MTAC has a working relationship with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the Connecticut State Police, the Department of Motor Vehicles, and the Department of Transportation. Additionally, MTAC is a member of ATA, the American Truckers Association. Through its ATA membership MTAC members have a voice in transportation issues of national concern and instant communications with any of the 49 other states.

The Anastasio Group's Circle of Life, LLC is a Municipal Business Associate Member of the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities MBA program. In May of this year Circle of Life participated in CCM's Spring Symposium program titled "Connecticut Emergency Management Symposium". As an exhibitor, Circle of Life was joined by CSX Corporation in presenting their joint capabilities for providing an expansive rail transportation network which covers the state of Connecticut as well as links to a regional and national network.

On October 22, The Anastasio Group will be participating in CCM's 26th Annual Convention and Exposition at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Connecticut. This sold out event will introduce The Anastasio Group of Companies to over 600 key local government leaders, elected and appointed, from 169 towns and cities throughout the state. According to CCM's , Kevin Maloney, " This program is -by far- the largest annual gathering of Connecticut municipal leaders"..held in Connecticut.
